Sofia Di Patrizi is an intentionally intersectional feminist balancing academic work and political activism because that's the only way change is achieved.

As a sociologist and campaigner, Sofia has sought to understand and transform structural systems of inequality for ten years; from both an international level with a leading role in the International Union of Socialist Youth and other international youth programs and at street-level, campaigning in her native Genova and coordination left-wing candidate mayor’s campaign as a junior campaign manager in last elections.

Learning the lesson from feminist pioneers, she’s deeply convinced the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house. This knowledge, combined with Italian politics’ widespread attitude for tokenism, has lead her to take as her activism mission building creative ways to empower young women and stranghen collective feminist movement within local communities.
