Jessica

Jessica Shearer has had a front-row seat to the major sea changes in how campaigns are run. She took the Obama digital model to the 290 person team she managed on that race in 2008, and she was a key manager in MoveOn’s successful effort to help flip the US House of Representatives in 2018. Globally, she virtually assembled 137,000 people from 47 countries to discuss the peace movement in Korea. Jessica got her start in politics with the Democratic Socialists of America before spending 11 years in the labor movement. 

Her commitment and success in bringing creative strategies to launch the careers of some of the world’s most progressive political leaders has led to her formation of a more permanent structure to tackle representation in politics.

Jessica founded Agenda with the idea that these advances need to be available to communities too often left behind in politics. That reducing inequalities in our society means eliminating inequality in our politics.  Jessica has campaigned and won elections in over 20 countries but makes her home Venice Beach, California.
